Old East York is a great little neighbourhood in Toronto, close to everything: shops, restaurants, parks, TTC and major highway access. To the East there is shopping on Pape, Donlands, Greenwood, Coxwell, and Woodbine Avenues and to the south Danforth Avenue has everything: markets, bakeries, retail stores, nightlife and the best Greek restaurants. Once home to a high population of retirees, these days more young families are moving in, renovating and popularizing the area. Homes are still very affordable in this area.
